
Homework Club
About the Program
Homework Club seeks to provide youth in the Spence neighbourhood with the support they need not only to excel in school, but also to enjoy learning. Participation is on a drop-in basis, and participants are welcome to join at any time of the school year.

Special Programs
On Tuesdays students perform science experiments with the aid of volunteers. In partnership with Lets Talk Science and Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre student are guided through a science lesson and experiment. A nutritious meal is provided to students on arrival.
Thursdays is Computer Club at Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre. Students are walked over from the MERC and given an hour and a half of computer time in the Computer Lab. Students are encouraged to play educational games or learn to code on Code Academy.
