SNA Board of Directors

Ever wondered what you could do for your community?

Please Consider Joining Our Board of Directors!

A strong Board of Directors, firmly rooted in community, is a major component of Spence Neighbourhood Association's success since it was incorporated in 2020.  This has lead to a team with a passion for creating a positive impact where they live and a fierce will to do well by their neighbours.

SNA's Board of Directors is responsible for the overall guidance and vision for the association.

Commitment:

Board members ae asked to attend a once a month board meeting as well as sit on one of the committees which also meet once a month.  It is vital to fill our board with people who want to make an impact on the community they live in.  A strong board means a strong agency.

Who?

Participation on the board is open to anyone who lives, works, or volunteers in the Spence neighbourhood and who is over 18 years old.

Why?

Joining the SNA board gives you the opportunity to get involved and contribute to change in your neighbourhood.  It offers a chance to learn how a not-for-profit, grassroots community organizations works and a way to build a sense of belonging, not just for yourself, but for others where you live.
